This skill of mine was discovered when I was on my 2nd job as a Music Licensing Consultant for Premier BPO. At first I had to admit, when I first heard of the job I didn't want to consider it due to my lack of experience on sales - all I knew back then was to buy goods. I barely accepted the job, taking it only when I was informed that it would only require soft selling of music licenses by SESAC.

I was scared at first, not knowing to sell anything, only using what they have taught me through basic knowledge of the product and communication templates. However, in less than a month, I've taught myself to use simple logic and was able to convince potential clients by putting their needs first before my own.

This has even allowed me unconventional methods of chasing after business owners, which generated me a great number of gossips along my colleagues, but has provided me a great number of sales as well - which proved the critics wrong.

Through these lessons, I was able to achieve a lot(besides the monetary commissions) like an offer by my superior to be his successor, and the fact that I was still selling licenses even when I am no longer with the company - simply through the e-mails I've sent our potential clients. Surely, I've left a great mark on this company.
